We haven't really used them yet on the wiki. You can find a couple examples of them though. Take a look at the weapon pages - Fire Rate has a tooltip - that's a template. And if you see articles with "This article is in need of English Improvement" - That's a template as well. I'm gonna make a template for removed content (M107). Shade (yes, that shade) gave me an idea.
What if we combined Location Nicknames and Hiding spots of Map pages to "Locations"? In that one section, we first list locations with nicknames, then we point out the camping spots and hiding spots. A proper guide to how the maps are played.
Also, is anyone interested of making a video in a duel server touring around the map that we can use on the wiki? You need to know a bit about how you're gonna cross the map in the least amount of time with the highest amount of coverage...Read more >
Techniques and Tactics make up quite a substantial part of the wiki, and I'm totally okay with that. It's a valuable aspect of this wiki - things to learn for players that wish to get better.
I'm having a problem with the template for them, however.
We're currently listing the names of the original authors, even although things like Sprint Reloading, Sprint Nading, Ambushing, Meatshields, Free Falls and Hiding are commonly known. The original authors aren't even the people who thought up the idea in the first place - they wrote it down, but the idea existed longer than that. Some of the techniques on this list have been found out by me and others without talking to each other about it beforehand.
